   The Austin Yacht Club summer sailing camp is a week-long day camp that provides 8-16+ year olds an introduction to sailing, boat handling, knots and rigging, and water safety. The camp runs from 9:00AM to 5:00PM every day, with drop-off beginning at 8:00 and pick-up no later than 6:00. The training combines chalk-talks and drills with lots of time spent on the water. The Club owns fleets of Optimist Dinghies, Lasers, FJs, and windsurfers that are available for the campers to sail.
